When should I send out my invitations?

Invitations for both day and evening should be sent out 8 to 12 weeks before your wedding day. If you have guests coming from overseas why not send them "Save the Date Cards" which will allow them to confirm their travel arrangements well in advance and avoid any last minute disappointment.

How long will my stationery take from the time of ordering?

Your personalised wedding stationery should be ordered 4-6 weeks prior to the date you plan on sending your invitations out. We will aim to have your personalised invitations to you 2-4 weeks from approval of the final proofs.

You can order stationery as far in advance as you choose. However, if you only have limited time until you need to send out your invitations and you would like personalised stationery then please call us on 01484 660770. Our Design Team will be happy to discuss your requirements.

Deposit

A 50% non refundable deposit is required against each order of personalised wedding stationery, the balance being due on completion of the order. If stationery is required in less than 4 weeks a 100% deposit is required. A full refund will only be given if the stationery is found to be faulty or does not meet your specified requirements.

How do I pay for my stationery?

Payment should be by cheque payable to Park Mount Designs.

50% is payable at the time of order, the balance being due once your order is completed and prior to delivery

Delivery Charges

Delivery is at a cost of £10 per order. Should you have a particularly large order then any excess cost will be added to your final invoice.

Delivery will normally be made using Royal Mail Special Delivery and a signature will be required on delivery. Stationery will be delivered to the address of your choice as stipulated on your order form.

How many invitations do I need to order?

It is always a good idea to allow for a few extra invitations and envelopes (between 5-10). This allows for late invitations or if you are personalising the cards yourselves, handwriting errors.

If you choose our INDIVIDUAL or PREMIUM bespoke service purchasing extra invitations will not be necessary unless there may be a possibility of inviting extra guests at a later date.

Is it necessary for me to order all my stationery at the same time?

When sending out your invitations it is sometimes difficult to know numbers of those attending. Once these details have been confirmed any further stationery orders should be made.

Is a minimum order required?

No. We do not have a minimum order requirement. Regardless of the number of guests we would be pleased to help you.

Wording

We are happy to use whatever wording you prefer. Please refer to our Wording/Font section for suggested wording. All of the samples given can be personalised.

Additional information you may wish to include with the wedding invitation

To assist your guests the following information could be included when sending out your invitations:

RSVP Cards: With pre-printed RSVP cards you are assured of a much quicker response from your guests. This is particularly so if you provide a stamped addressed envelope. Alternatively, you may choose to include the RSVP in the wedding invite with contact details.

Directions and Maps: Clear and concise directions are essential for those guests not familiar with venue. It is also good to include telephone numbers of taxi firms for guests who may be arriving using public transport and need to make the last stage of the journey by taxi.

Accommodation: It is useful to include a list of hotels and B&B's in the area. Remember to include their contact details, distance to wedding venue and price per room.

Wedding List: If you have a gift list or have a voucher scheme in place you may wish to mention where it is being held and how it may be accessed.

Children: Whether you are inviting children or not should be made clear when sending out your invitations. Most guests will respect whatever decision you choose and will be happy to make the necessary childcare arrangements.
