TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Any order from a customer implies their understanding and acceptance of the following Terms and Conditions of Park Mount Designs. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions or do not intend to comply with them, please do not use Park Mount Designs.
2. Prices charged will be according to the prices listed at the time of ordering. Park Mount Designs reserves the right to increase these prices at any time. Any price increase will not affect any current orders already received.
3. For our Wedding Stationery the prices quoted will include inserts and envelopes where appropriate.
4. Every effort is made to ensure the prices and information shown on our website and advertising material is correct. However, occasionally mistakes happen. In this instance Park Mount Designs will amend any mistake and inform the customer so they may decide whether or not to continue with the order at the correct price.
5. All photographs, designs, illustrations and general descriptions shown on our website or other materials provided to the customer are intended to provide the customer with general guidance only. They are only approximate indications of the size, colour and type of goods and shall not be binding on Park Mount Designs .
6. Up to 3 samples per customer will be provided free of charge. Further samples will be supplied at unit price. Payment must be received in full prior to despatch. We aim to despatch samples within 7 days of order.
7. For our Wedding Stationery a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the full value of the order is required at the time of ordering. The remaining balance will be required upon completion of the order or part order (if all items are not ordered at the same time) and prior to your order being delivered.
8. On receipt of your Wedding Stationery order, free printed proofs for the items ordered will be sent for your approval. Park Mount Designs will aim to do this within 10 days of receiving your order. It is the customer's responsibility to check these proofs very carefully and clearly mark any amendments. Revised proofs will be issued if necessary. Printing will only commence once we have received proofs approved and signed by the customer. Park Mount Designs cannot be held responsible for any mistakes that go unnoticed.
9. The first proof and a second amended proof, if required, will be sent free of charge. Park Mount Designs reserves the right to charge for any third proofs required. Inserts requiring to be reprinted following approval will incur a charge of £1.50 each.
10. Due to copyright laws you may require permission to reproduce certain hymns and readings used in the Order of Day or Order of Service cards. It is your responsibility to obtain permission from the copyright owner to use any hymns or reading still under copyright. Park Mount Designs will not be held responsible for any copyright permission required.
11. In the event of an order cancellation the customer will be liable to the following charges:
i. Prior to approval of the proofs and the commencement of printing, the customer will stand to lose their 50% non-refundable deposit. ii. If printing and compilation of the stationery order has commenced the customer will be liable for all costs incurred by Park Mount Designs up to the point of receiving written confirmation of that cancellation.
12. Payment can be made by cheque or postal order, which should be made payable to Park Mount Designs.
13. Delivery is subject to availability. Should an item not be available, the customer will be informed and an alternative of equivalent quality will be offered.
14. Delivery charges apply to all orders. Please refer to the appropriate order form for the relevant charges. Delivery may be made using Royal Mail Recorded Delivery, Special Delivery or any other carrier. Any charges exceeding the standard delivery charge may be added to the final invoice, to be met by the customer.
15. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the correct delivery address is supplied to Park Mount Designs prior to dispatch.
16. Wedding Stationery will be delivered to your delivery address approximately 4-6 weeks from receipt of your signed final proofs. If delivery time is expected to exceed this Park Mount Designs will notify the customer as soon as possible.
17. Any dates quoted for delivery of orders are approximate only and Park Mount Designs shall not be liable for any delay in delivery of the orders however caused. Time for delivery shall not be of the essence unless previously agreed by Park Mount Designs in writing.
18. If Park Mount Designs fails to deliver the order for any reasons other than any cause beyond Park Mount Designs' reasonable control, Park Mount Designs' liability will be limited to the invoiced price of the goods.
19. Park Mount Designs cannot accept liability for delay, loss or damage to goods in dispatch or delivery.
20. Upon delivery, it is the customer's responsibility to examine the goods and notify Park Mount Designs within 7 days of any damage, defect or shortage. In the event of a claim, settlement will be limited to the value of the defective or missing items and will in no way extend to consequential loss, however caused.
21. Risk of damage to or loss of the goods shall pass to the customer at the time of delivery or, if the customer wrongfully fails to take delivery of the goods, at the time Park Mount Designs had tendered delivery of the goods.
22. All designs are copyrighted by their respective designer and should not be copied in part or whole without the designer's prior consent.
23. Individually handcrafted items may be subject to normal and slight variations. This is considered by Park Mount Designs to be normal for handcrafted products and does not in any way constitute the goods as faulty.
24. Some of the decorative materials used in the designs are small and may present a choking hazard for babies and young children. Park Mount Designs accepts no responsibility for this.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
